Just thinking about this the other day, people normally saying quickest car they've owned or best on fuel etc etc but what;s the best alround car you've ever owned? For me it's probably gotta be the scirocco, owned it 5years and rarely gave me any grief, when it did was always easily and cheaply sorted .........actually when I think about it just a fuel pump relay aside from servicing and brakes. Easily the quickest car I've had, rediculously easy on fuel, comfortable on a run, seriously enjoyable to drive and looks superb!! In saying that it'll probably crap itself tomorrow now because I've sung it's praises

I had a 5.7 Chevy Impala when I livedin America. Every car I have owned since pales in comparison. On this side of the pond it was a metallic blue EG civic. Thing clung to the tar far better than it has a right to. |

My current daily driver a Civic Type R EP3. Its a bit of a rare one being unmodified and HPI clear (try and find one ), it took a while finding a good one but they are a cracking car.Quick enough, handles well and has been totally reliable (so far). Only bad points are steep tax and insurance and it likes a bit of fuel if you hammer it, although for a 200bhp car they are very reasonable to run. |

This is bad one to say but when i was younger i had a Skoda rapid.Put 2 tractor weights in the front of it, bumpers off it ,de-badged and to see guys out drifting and doughnuts on the beach. I would go out in my 50 pound car with NOS kit in it. And watch their jaws drop I would split myself laughing. They were up their own hole being able to do it. After that was a mk1 Astra burnt orange, tinted windows, with blue wings and bonnet. I loved that car i really missed it after i sold it. Then the guy i sold it to wrapped it round a tree. I have to get a new one,for the wish list. |

years ago my idea was it had to be quick now all i want is cheap and reliable so my best car would be my current daily driver a 1999 skoda felicia since 2008 all i`ve had to do to it apart from regular servicing was a new exhaust and a set of pads and discs i`ve had some cars in the past that i do miss like an 89 polo and a 91 polo but at the time i had no room to keep them |

That's a hard one. I've had a lot of cars, some good, some not so good but I think the one I had the most fun in was a green 1.1 4 door 106. It had 2 front seats and half a dashboard and that was it, not even a wireless. Had it in a hedge at least once a week, got it pulled out and went again, the thing just wouldn't die. Oooo, and a red Lada Riva with a welded diff that went over the side of a bridge, that was fun too lol. |

Tough one - I've lost count of how many cars I've had!! The car I've owned the longest is my '64 Mini Traveller - heading on for 15 years!! Cracking wee motor and I'll never sell it. BUT - the only car I've regretted selling (and I guess this means my favourite car ever!!) was my 1994 Rover Mini Tahiti LE. Originally one of 500 limited editions with a unique interior, alloys as standard and 1.3 plant I ran it totally original for a few years before starting to modify it. Dropped onto 10s and Cooper S brakes, Cooper S interior, Cosmic alloy wheel arches, stage 2 kit (and therefore about 80 bhp!), it was one of the quickest and most fun motors I've every owned. I bought it at 4 years old and 17000 miles, and it had 117000 on it when I sold it - 100000 miles of fun driving!! Why did I sell it??? |

Easy 1960 Porsche 356 B Cabriolet triple black. Raced at PCA club events, autocrossed, concoured and driven on 6K mile round trip every summer with our family of 4. I was taught how to get into the back seat with out stepping on the carpet as a kid. My day was a driving instructor for the porsche club of America and we used to race at Laguna Seca in club events with the top down and no roll bar. |

im lying about the ep3, one of my best was my 75 quid seat ibiza (engineered by porsche you know) welll thats what the rocker cover told me. 1.2 rattler, was like driving a sofa but was comedy, smashed it through a fence into a farmers field flat out whoopsieee, only cracked the indicator lol. sold it for 100 quid after 2 years. |
