How do you roll arches?? Front wheels are catching when turning, is there a tool for the job?? or is the process as caveman as I think it is!?

You can make a tool for doing it using a vw jack.

You can hire one, but its virtually impossible to goll the arches without putting cracks in the paint. People will tell you that they did it without any paint problems, but further inspection proves they are 'lying'

as the lads said its near impossible to do it without cracking the paint, i got a lend of a roller a few years back to do a mates car and used heat and a lot of patience to try not crack the paint , but i still got slight cracking on them , front are slightly easier to sort as the lip isnt as big or as strong as the rears though, its handy if your doing paintwork down the line though as you sort out the cracks later :)

Yeah thought that would be a problem but i think the paint has been damaged as the lips been bent out when the tyre caught wing on a bumpy right hander.. Anyone have a roller I could borrow?? Or where hires them? Thanks
