Lovely Nova kit car; not Vauxhall .. tube chassis US Sterling exotica

What usually lets these down is the finish and attention to detail. In England this car was the Nova ... pretty sure it is no more but there are a selection of worldwide variants and this is a Sterling from the US of A. In fact, it is their demonstrator.

No longer necessarily on a Beetle chassis or with air-cooled engine. It seems to have lost it's roof too which is handy for thse situations when the canopy won't perform. I've loved the shape of this car since before my age reached double figures and I think it still looks well in it's original un-bastardised forum with just a quality paint job to finish it off.

Their have been all sorts of updates over the decades, notably the Eagle SS with gullwing doors and a later Eagle with a bulge at the front for a donor Ford engine. Not so nice at all.
